Bradley Hassell was an attacking midfielder who played for Adelaide City and Perth Glory in the old NSL.
His inclusion in the Antipodean Bantams website is, at best, tenuous – I remember reading in, from memory, the Australian and British Soccer Weekly, some years back that he was going to have a trial with the Bantams because his parents came from Bradford.
He is also incorrectly listed on some Australian websites as having been a Bantams player, but reader Damian Hassell went to the trouble of letting us know that Brad Hassell is currently the first team coach at Armadale in the Perth Premier Division and Damian says he can ‘confidently’ say that Brad didn’t play for the Bantams, but that ‘his family are from Bradford and there was talk that he was heading there for a trial – but I don’t think it ever eventuated due to Brad breaking his arm’.
