A right-back who never won over the Bradford City fans, Gareth Edds joined the Bantams on a free transfer for the 2003-04 season after his contract with Swindon ran out.

Previously at Nottingham Forest, Edds failed to make an impact at Valley Parade, playing 24 times in his only season at the club. After leaving West Yorkshire he moved on to the newly-named MK Dons, where he spent four seasons before joining Tranmere.

Edds returned to Australia after being released by Tranmere, signing for North Queensland Fury in June 2010, but became a free agent when it was announced on March 1, 2011, that Fury would no longer be part of the A-League.
